Temperate Atlantic breezes dominate the climate of the Ribeiro D.O., located in southern Galicia at the confluence of the the rivers Miño, Avia, and Barbantiño Arnoia. The temperate climate results in a low average temperatures and perfect conditions for the cultivation of delicate white wines such as the indigenous Treixadura grape.
