Costers del Sió

Owner Juan de Porcioles decided on the foothills of the Pyrenees as the place to establish his family estate in 1992. This would not have been a hard decision, as the estate exudes quiet beauty across seemingly endless hills of olive trees, cereals, sheep and cattle.

Since its founding, Costers del Sió has focused relentlessly on developing its understanding of the Mediterranean climate and granitic soils of the area. A wide variety of grapes are grown here, and this experimental style has yielded unique wines with distinctive and enjoyable characters.
